“YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE”

Whose responsibility is it to uphold the tenets contained in the Bill of Rights?

(Mar. 5, 2014) — Good morning, one and all. Thank you for tuning in, and if you’re a new listener, welcome. For those of you who are not familiar with the format, we just tell it like it is: in other words, we speak about Truth, Justice and the American Way, or how it used to be and could be, if we’d just pay attention.

Today’s topic is your Constitutional rights and how to lose them. If you are mugged, your rights have been violated. You were denied public safety and, for a time, the opportunity to be secure in your being (meaning keeping your skin) and secure in your quest for happiness, which is not getting mugged in the first place.

Let’s examine the events that led up to your getting mugged in the first place. Maybe your purse was snatched, a grab-and-run. Maybe your car was jacked, or maybe the plane you were flying in was rammed into a building. Okay, it just wasn’t your day. Too bad we know of your existence on the planet that we share only because you weren’t paying attention.

“What’s that,” you say? My call board just lit up like a Christmas tree, and if any of you were offended by “Christmas tree,” go back where you came from. We’re not here to accommodate you; you’re here to contribute to the success of our nation, got it?

Back on topic: so you woke up and expected to have a good day. BUZZER! Wrong thought. “Hope for the best, prepare for the worst,” okay? In other words, expect the worst day in your life and be grateful it wasn’t, right? I mean, put yourself in the shoes of a PFC storming the beaches of enemy territory. When you walk out that door, you’re making a landing. There are predators out there who would like nothing better than to completely ruin your day. It’s what they do, what they live for; the enemy of your Civil Rights is just outside of your front door. Deal with it.

If you expect the military to protect you, keep praying, and if you expect law enforcement to protect you, good luck. Looking at the way things really are, the difference between the overwhelming majority of today’s law enforcement personnel is that the Constitution is some arbitrary meaningless mumbo-jumbo that they don’t have to pay attention to, and if you do, then you’re what they call a “Domestic Terrorist.”

You, as a citizen, have the right and the duty to protect your Constitutional rights: NO ONE HAS THE AUTHORITY TO VIOLATE YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. NO ONE. Neither the president, nor the Attorney General, nor the FBI, IRS, a mugger or a policeman has the right to deny you your rights under any circumstances whatsoever.

And, AS A CONSEQUENCE, you must have the knowledge and the ability to protect yourself and your family from everyone who would violate your rights.

What do you think World War II was about if it wasn’t about violating people’s rights? You think the world went to war about hemlines? What do you think 9-11 was all about if it wasn’t for equal rights to all? Why do you think dictators hate us so much, if not for the Constitution? Why do you think Muslims have a REAL PROBLEM with the Constitution?

Each of us has the responsibility to fight for our Constitution EVERY DAY, and in order to do so effectively, you must be armed. A tank would be nice, but at least carry a weapon, a gun, an equalizer, for the protection of your Constitutional rights.  You have the right to live; never forget that.

We’ll concede that maybe 10% of government employees are a tribute to public service, which makes your chances of being pulled over by a policeman who is actually a Domestic Terrorist pretty darn high. Pay attention and pay tribute to your lawful right (2nd Amendment) to carry a weapon that will give you the ability to save your life and the lives of your family, your neighbors and your country.

I carry a gun – and have the blessings of my Sheriff’s Department to do so. This is not because I have a “concealed permit” (I don’t). I carry openly, the Sheriff and his Deputies know this … and they RESPECT my right to do so. Perhaps I live amongst the minority of law enforcement personnel in this country, but I don’t buy that. I thank God for my Sheriff and his deputies – oops, maybe I should say my Sheriff and MY deputies.
