Justina Pelletier was hospitalized at Boston Children’s Hospital in February of last year with the flu and an underlying medical condition. When BCH doctors disagreed with her diagnosis from Tufts Medical Center, the parents moved to discharge their daughter, but were blocked by BCH physicians, who called in Massachusetts DCF, which took custody of the teenager.
