ARE AMERICANS FOOLING THEMSELVES?

Was Obama’s “Hope and Change” a disguise for Kool-Aid?

(Feb. 24, 2014) — Kool-Aid stands everywhere, and not a drop to drink; at least that’s what we think. Well, we’re wrong. We are drinking the Kool-Aid whether we like it or not. Every time a new policeman puts on a badge, another sip goes down. That’s right, the reason being is that towns all across America are hiring people who they wouldn’t even consider 40 years ago. The previous requirement was the mental and physical ability to actually do the job for which they were hired: to uphold their Oath to the Constitution.

An Honorable Discharge was the first requirement, with military police/Master-at-Arms experience a plus. None of this “affirmative action” nonsense: if you were qualified, you were considered. The police used to be a part of the community, someone you could go to if you needed help. Those days are gone. Safe to stay away from the police. Be armed: protect yourself.

Every time you go to the airport and demean yourself to TSA inspections, you are drinking the Kool-Aid.

Every time you watch mainstream media television, your choice is being tabulated, which is why whenever the Great Usurper, Obama is on, I turn my TV set OFF. Don’t drink the Kool-Aid.

Signing-up for Obamacare is drinking the Kool-Aid, as is giving the time of day to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

Not continuing to wonder about and questioning about BENGHAZI is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Supporting Hillary Clinton is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Supporting membership in the United Nations and Agenda 21 is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Not having weapons, not supporting the Second Amendment, and not having your wife and daughter carry a concealed handgun is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Believing that the Nanny State (Socialism) will be advantageous for you and your family is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Thinking that Islam is a religion and not a political philosophy is taking a Big Gulp of the Kool-Aid.

Believing that Obama is not a Muslim not bent on the total destruction of our military and our Constitution is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Believing that the Birth Certificate issue has been answered is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Believing that the Department of Homeland Security, the IRS, and the NSA do not violate your 4th Amendment rights is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Believing that the Department of Homeland Security is making America safer is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Believing that Amnesty for illegal immigrants is good for America is drinking the Kool-Aid.

My advice?

DON’T DRINK THE KOOL-AID!

  1. I like what is said here, but wonder if most readers will understand the Kool-Aid reference to the Jim Jones People’s Temple massacre in Guyana, where drinking cyanide-laced Kool-Aid took the lives of 900 people, including their evil, but “progressive” pastor. Liberal politicians in San Francisco paid homage to Jones, who could always be relied upon, to get out the vote with his cult followers.

  2. Believing that the administration is not poisoning our school children is drinking the Kool Aid.

There are many mare examples, and if all were added the article would probably take up every bit of disk space allocated to the site. I’m sure others could add many more.

    1. I agree. Common Core = Kool Aid.
