WHERE HAS “HOPE AND CHANGE” LED?

I will not dial the police
for the police is my enemy.
I will not call the military
for they sacrificed Lakin

I will not use my phone
for my private talk
isn’t private anymore.
I am surrounded
with but one bullet left.

I’ve exhausted my ammo
but I’ve killed many of them.
I am trapped with no way out,
save one.

I’d call my friends
but I’d just be leading them into a trap.
The enemy came by foot, armored truck
and helicopter.

The enemy has drones with missiles
while my main armament is but a pen.
My crime was to be a Patriot, someone who
believes in the Constitution, a “Birther” and
a Tea Party supporter, let alone a Veteran.

Most of us die without the opportunity
to say “Last Words.”
My words are “Will you follow me into death? I warned you, and without me, what chance have you?”
Many have spoken, but few have listened.

Many have raised the flag of battle
only to be hushed by the do-gooders
who believe that violence isn’t an option
even while it’s the enemy’s weapon
that and lies: “Hope and Change.”

Open season on Jews and Christians.
Muslims raping with impunity.
What will you do when they
break into your home and cover your
street with the blood of your wife and daughter?

What will you do?
Will you finally act,
after it’s too late?
After your wife and daughter have been
tortured and murdered?

Is that when you will act?
Will you raise your hand against Obama
and his army of murderers,
Eric Holder and the DOJ, Homeland Security,
CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood,
or will you just do nothing?”

“Do not call for me
for I am dead
as, too, you shall be.”
