WE have now fought for a full year. 10s of thousands of hard working citizens have called for action from Albany for FULL Repeal The Safe Act. Some lawmakers schmooze us, others court us and some ignore us and the FULL Repeal of the Safe Act bills sit dead in the halls of the legislature. WE DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR EXCUSES !!!! The Citizens are speaking and they MUST listen. Don’t let them kid you – they have ways to force FULL Repeal of the Safe Act – their “excuses” (lies) are 100% political.
A Plea to the citizens of New York – 1 and ALL – Please Join US:
It matters not if you are for or against the Safe Act – the fact is that lawmakers diss US every day. They follow “their” own agenda and ignore OURS. It’s time to force them to act on the wishes of the citizens!
Their Priorities Come Last – OUR Priorities MUST Come FIRST Teach Them They MUST Obey.

On January 15 TEAM NY will be in Albany delivering another bag of Demand Petition Post Cards that have already been signed. [keep signing we will deliver more] WE will deliver them to ALL 213 lawmaker offices. [if you have some signed or want to sign & have the time – meet us at the Capitol at 1pm – look for the Banner Truck on State St. – you can’t miss us]
Now Comes YOUR Part: Keep Calling – Keep Emailing – disrupt business as usual…..all day long.
Make them know – it ain’t a bluff – WE will NOT Quit – WE Will NOT Back Down

#1: Dear Lawmaker, We have protested the Safe Act in historic numbers yet you defy your duty. Please be advised we will make your life miserable until YOU tear up the Safe Act. If strict gun control is to be the law of the land in New York you must do it the right way – Repeal the illegal law and begin again – and do it right this time. Our movement grows every day and WE won’t go away. The longer you delay the more creative our actions will be. Please save our state – start today Repeal the Safe Act.
#2: The jig is up, we know you have ways to get the Safe Act repealed. . Start today – LOBBY your fellow lawmaker – make them see the people mean business.

Attachments: One attachment is the master copy of our demand post card. This can be used to make copies on card stock or plain paper. Plain paper or card stock is ok. 1 sheet (cut) makes 4 post cards. The 2nd attachment is a copy of all lawmakers addresses Phones and email addresses – flood Albany with messages.
Demand Petition Post Cards are an OFFICIAL NOTICE. It details the legislative default to “We the People” AND directs the lawmakers to continue until our demand is met. Yup – more pressure and more ammunition – locked, loaded and ready to FIRE these insane politicians.
There are 213 lawmakers. Each person can sign 213 post cards – 1 for each lawmaker (signing of 1 to 213 is ok)
NOTE: Many people are having “signing parties”. A group of 10 people can sign a total of 2130 post cards in about ½ hour. Note; if each person contributes $5ea it will cover the cost of cards and mailing.
How we will get the post cards to Albany lawmakers:
Denver Jones has accepted the task of handling bulk Cards. You can Mail them to Denver Jones BSU Inc., 445 East State St. Ithaca NY 14850.
You can also mail them individually or in bundles directly to any and/or all Assemblymen and Senators. (You are a NY resident – they ALL represent you). You can also hand deliver or mail them to your representatives’ local offices.
Did you know there are 150 Assemblymen and 63 Senators (total = 213) Any NY resident can send a demand to every one of them.
Our goal is to keep applying pressure – Keep Signing – Keep Delivering – every day – Please organize small signing parties – ask others too.
We are now 10s of thousands of true believers in the cause. I’m one – hope you are too.
