“EXTRA LOUD ALARMS”

by OPOVV, ©2013

(Nov. 1, 2013) — Some may call it decorum, while others say “restraint.”  Could be just plain old good manners, or maybe unwittingly spreading half-truths. Then again, there is the shock factor to consider; I mean, if it’s too far out there, people wouldn’t be inquisitive enough to read the editorial to the end, now would they?

Well, some would, like, really now, enough is enough. But it’s not enough, and that’s my point: it gets worse. Just when you learn about the atrocities of yesterday, along comes additional facts by way of video, and some just hours old, as if to say that they’re still in the game, as if we could ever forget.

But Americans do forget. Imagine electing an American president seven years after the Unconditional Surrender of Germany, who just happens to be a full-blown Nazi?  Actually, it’s pretty easy since we elected a Muslim just seven years after 9-11.

The average American’s attention span can only be measured by the most sophisticated stopwatches, the kind that breaks time down to nano-seconds. I knew a grown man who never read one book since graduating from high school, some 50 years earlier. And look at me: out of all the biology, health and Red Cross courses I’ve taken, there have been times when I’ve had a bag of M&M’s World for breakfast, so how smart can I be? Actually, for over 20 years I had the same lunch every day: sardines, yogurt and an apple, and the only variation was the flavor of the yogurt. It used to drive my co-workers bonkers. “How can you eat the same thing for lunch every day?”

Breakfast was “Cooking by Smoke Alarm,” and here’s how it worked. I’d buy a sirloin steak every Saturday at the butcher shop, cut it up into five equal pieces and then freeze them. On Sunday I’d bake a few potatoes so when I woke up on a work day I’d go into the kitchen and put a steak in the pan and then go take a shower and dress.  At some point, the smoke alarm would go off, at which time I’d flip the steak, add half a sliced pre-baked potato and two eggs and by the time I’d finished dressing everything would be cooked to perfection: steak and eggs and home fries every morning with only one pan to wash; how about that? Same breakfast for years: apparently women don’t approve of the “smoke-alarm” method of the fine art of culinary cooking, so I’ve learned.

So where are we going with this editorial? Well, we’re not going directly to the subject, that’s for sure. But we can’t, because of restraints. And without those restraints in place you’d be blindsided with alarms, EXTRA LOUD ALARMS going off in your head, and we wouldn’t want that, or at least my editor wouldn’t want that.  So I have to say you actually have to seek out the latest horrors that Muslims come up with by searching out the information on the internet. This you must do, because it’s very real and it affects you and me, and everyone else here in America. Knowledge may not be power, but it’s always best to be forewarned so you’re not taken by surprise: allow that alarm to go off.  In other words, search for the Truth, okay?

Real documented atrocities, committed to video, put on the internet for various reasons, stretching the envelope from insane driven pride to dire warnings. You had best be paying attention; I’ve been. Valerie Jarrett and Obama belong to the “warped” Muslim Brotherhood. Please be responsible and seek out the information that may, hopefully, save our lives. Be aware, that’s all.

And lastly, it’s not a coincidence that the oldest Christian communities in the world either have been or are in the process of being decimated since Obama became our de facto president. An alarm should be going off in your head.

Good article OPOVV. I particularly liked the part about what you ate for lunch every day. And your breakfast methodology was ingenious. Thanks for sharing that.

I personally do know about the Islamist infiltration of our country and believe you are correct about it. However, I also believe that they, the Islamists, are being used as a destructive force in America, by the powers-that-be, just the same as many other radical groups, of whom most, if not all, are funded by the George Soros types for the specific purpose of destroying the Judeo-Christian heritage and culture upon which this country was founded.

What to do about it? I don’t know. Without a radical change in the way America is controlled and run by the elites, I don’t see that there’s much any of us can do, as individuals, other than strictly adhering to the truth and speaking out about it, to anybody and everybody, regardless of any “political correctness” consequences. Too many people, just about everybody who is not on the government dole, in one form or another, are so heavily invested in “the system” as it is, that to revolt and withdraw entirely from it would cause great hardship, which most people are just not willing to endure, let alone embrace.

It seems to me that there is going to have to be a huge uprising by huge masses of people before any real change can occur. And until enough people are HUNGRY enough, I don’t see that happening. Not to mention the fact that too many people just cannot accept the fact that they have been LIED to all these years, decades, by the very people they trusted to be running things correctly and Constitutionally.

I could be wrong, though.

the alarms have been going off for years in my head. My problem is what to do about it? Knowing about something and making corrections is two different things…..give us some definitive actions to take and maybe we can make some changes. Just knowing these things does not correct the problem.
