HAS THE EVENT BEEN HIJACKED?

Truckers, veterans and others are protesting government corruption and the closing of war memorials by the Obama regime this weekend

(Oct. 13, 2013) — Members of Truckers’ Ride for the Constitution, which began a convoy to Washington, DC to protest government abuse, corruption and Obama’s forged documents, have accused radio show host Pete Santilli of stealing $500,000 raised for the truckers’ fuel expenses.

Santilli recently teamed with suspended Gilberton Borough, PA Police Chief Mark Kessler as co-host of Kessler’s radio show.  In July, Kessler produced several obscenity-laden videos of himself using an assault weapon on a target while invoking the names of Secretary of State John Kerry and Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

Santilli broadcasts on The Guerilla Media Network, which is owned by Vinny Eastwood.  Eastwood called Santilli “evil” for allegedly claiming credit for advocating for truckers seeking overtime pay and for allegedly having contacted Eastwood and “starting up his own website…using my company name and using all my methodologies for putting it together…”

On Friday, Santilli said on his radio show that National Guard troops were called out by Obama to confront the truckers and that Larry Nichols had confessed to being a “hired hit man” for the Clintons in the 1990s.  It was not the first occasion on which Santilli had discussed Nichols’ allegations.

Zeeda Andrews of Truckers’ Ride for the Constitution used Santilli’s platform to release information about the upcoming protest in a series of at least 11 radio shows.

Santilli had presented the Truckers’ Ride as having started in Gilberton on Thursday night, referencing a hearing for Kessler to determine whether or not he would be retained by the borough.

Santilli claimed that Kessler had been “lynched” by the Borough of Gilberton.  A final hearing on Kessler’s fate as police chief was held on Thursday, but after a loaded gun was dropped, the hearing was continued to Friday evening.

On September 5, Kessler stated that he expected to be “fired” from his job, although as of this writing, there is no definitive announcement of his status following the Friday hearing, if it took place.

Kessler’s longstanding website cannot be located on the server on Sunday morning:

The truckers’ organization has encouraged people to attend the scheduled Million Vet March at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday to protest the closing of war memorials by the Obama regime during the partial government shutdown.

Someone identified as Earl Conlon, who was quoted by U.S. News & World Report and others, appears to now say that he is not a spokesman for the Truckers’ Ride for the Constitution.  The “founder” interviewed by The Post & Email told us that he was not familiar with Conlon and did not sanction Conlon’s plan to arrest Congress members during the truckers’ protest in Washington.

Fox News reported on the truckers’ protest, whose participants cited government corruption, Obamacare, and over-regulation of the economy as reasons for their dissatisfaction with Washington.

Santilli appears to be broadcasting live on Sunday morning on the veterans’ and truckers’ protests, having stated that the “barrycades” put up in front of the veterans’ memorials are “on the ground.”
