WHY THAT SONG?

by Sharon Rondeau

Was Obama really “born in the USA?”

(Jun. 19, 2013) — Two mainstream media reporters have tweeted that a violinist played a song referring to a birthplace in the United States upon Obama’s arrival at the Brandenburg Gate in Germany, where he will deliver remarks on the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s “I am a Berliner” speech.

Bruce Springsteen produced a song called “Born in the USA,” which one one journalist said was played, while the other reporter said that the song was called “Born in America.”  A song by that title was performed by a group named “Riot.”

NBC’s Chuck Todd tweeted:

and CBS reporter Mark Knoller tweeted:

Doubts about Obama’s birthplace have swirled since 2008, after commentator Chris Matthews stated on air that Obama was born in Indonesia and various news reports stated that he had been born in Kenya, his purported father’s birthplace.  In June of that year, an image appeared on The Daily KOS and several other websites alleged to be Obama’s birth certificate, although it lacked details as to the hospital and doctor who delivered him, an official raised seal and was not distributed to reporters.

The “short-form” image also appeared with two different background colors and was declared a forgery by several scanning, graphics and computer experts.

Article II of the U.S. Constitution requires that the president and commander-in-chief be a “natural born Citizen,” which most Americans understand to mean “born on U.S. soil.”  However, the citizenship of the parents has historically been considered at least as important as birthplace, if not more so.

In 1916, former Secretary of State Breckinridge Long challenged Charles Evans Hughes’ eligibility on the grounds that although Hughes had been born on U.S. soil, his parents were not naturalized U.S. citizens at the time of the birth.

Obama claims he was born in Hawaii, but no hospital has affirmed it, citing “privacy” concerns as reason for their silence on the matter.  Initial reports in 2008 that he was born at Queens Hospital were changed to say that he was born at Kapiolani Medical Center without explanation.

Mainstream reporters have either been unwilling to report on the questions surrounding Obama’s birthplace and constitutional eligibility or muzzled by their corporate producers and other decision-makers.  A law enforcement investigation has revealed that the long-form birth certificate published on the White House website on April 27, 2011 is a “computer-generated forgery,” along with his Selective Service registration form.

Lead investigator Mike Zullo has described Obama has having “no history.”

On Monday, when Obama’s wife and daughters visited Ireland, ostensibly for “diplomatic” reasons, they reportedly were shown Obama’s lineage to Ireland tracing back “to the 1600s.”  However, a press release from Trinity College, where the ancestry records were reportedly viewed, reported that the family tree was traced back to about 1740.  However, it did not mention how Obama was reportedly related to the Kearneys.  His alleged mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was reportedly of “predominantly English ancestry.”

Reports of Obama’s birth on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, HI are confused by others which say that Dunham enrolled in college classes approximately two weeks later at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Obama has referred to Jakarta, Indonesia, where he reportedly spent some years as a child, as “my home town.”  Michelle Obama has called Kenya “Barack’s home country.”

Members of Congress are aware of the questions surrounding Obama’s identity and citizenship, and thousands of form letters have been received by constituents stating that because he was born in Hawaii, he qualifies for the presidency.  Letters continue to be sent affirming the claim despite the Cold Case Posse’s findings of forgery and fraud regarding the only “documents” Obama has released to the public.

At the Brandenburg Gate on Wednesday, Obama is expected to express his desire to reduce the world’s nuclear arsenal.

At 9:47 a.m. EDT, Obama is speaking about “the free world.”  Obama said “the security of America” can be maintained with a one-third reduction in nuclear weapons.

In 2008, Obama’s attempt to speak at the Gate was not honored, and he delivered remarks from the Victory Column. There were 200,000 people in attendance then and a reported 6,000 today.

Obama touched on climate change, the NSA surveillance program, and the purpose of government, which he said is to “serve the individual.”

  1. It would be awesome if he felt very uncomfortable hearing it…but I truly doubt it. In his narcissistic mind, he probably thinks they believe and are supporting his lying birth narrative!

    1. In the film, Phantom of the Opera, Minnie Driver plays the role of Carlotta Guidicelli, prima donna “first lady of the stage.” She drinks champagne from her slipper, is pampered and is festooned with a pink Marie Antoinette wig.

When Obama is removed from office, he can get a job in the remake of that role. If he can’t sing, perhaps his cousin, Raila Odinga, can dub it for him.

    1. Perhaps we can collectively sing, “LEAVIN’ ON A JET PLANE, DON’T KNOW WHEN I’LL BE BACK AGAIN!” hahaha A one way ticket to Jakarta.

  2. As this controversy is well known in Germany the playing of the song is almost an artistic irony. The music evokes the Controversy without opining one way or another. Berlin, we remember, was once setting to one of the most macabre Operas of Deceit in world history, so it is an apt locale for such tomfoolery.
