How Many Foreign Donations has the Obama Campaign Accepted?

(Oct. 21, 2012) — The New York Post is reporting that a resident of the United Kingdom entered a fake United States address with a zip code that did not match to the Obama campaign along with two $5.00 donations which were accepted.  When he tried to make the same donations to the Romney campaign, his money was rejected as a result of the Romney campaign’s request for the three-digit security code on the back of the credit card.

“Romney’s Web site wanted the code from the back of card. Barack Obama’s didn’t,” the donor is quoted as having said.

On October 11, The Daily Caller and other outlets reported that a website, Obama.com, had been established by an Obama operative and chairman of ACORN International, which does not screen donors for overseas donations.  The website states that one must be a resident of the U.S. to contribute but does not have a verification check in place so that foreign donations would be rejected.

Federal election law states that candidates for office in the U.S. cannot accept foreign donations.  The Government Accountability Institute found that many candidates for the U.S. House and Senate also do not activate the mechanism to screen out foreign donations.

A letter sent to putative Attorney General Eric Holder by RNC Chairman Reince Preibus stated that the Obama campaign “does not use the industry standard” when accepting donations online.  The RNC uses the security check so that foreign or fake addresses are not accepted.

Corruption has been identified within Holder’s Department of Justice in labeling citizens standing up for the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights as “extremists” and “sovereign citizens.”  Holder has failed to prosecute clear cases of voter intimidation committed by “his people” and has defended Obama in multiple cases wherein his eligibility and identity have been challenged in courts of law.

A law enforcement investigation determined earlier this year that Obama’s Selective Service registration form and long-form birth certificate were both “computer-generated forgeries.”  Congress has failed to initiate an investigation into the matter, although the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is investigating the Benghazi, Libya terrorist attack which killed four Americans and the Fast & Furious gunrunning operation carried out under Holder which killed several hundred Mexicans and at least one U.S. Border Patrol agent.

The Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Justice did not find that Holder knew about the program earlier than Holder had claimed, but he faulted more than a dozen ATF and FOJ employees, one of whom was a deputy assistant to Holder and resigned immediately.

Holder once participated in a “planned” event to take over a former student lounge at Columbia University to demand that it be renamed the “Malcolm X Lounge,” to which university officials acceded to avoid a confrontation.

The New York Post also reported that “Obama’s re-election campaign took in $130,867 from donors who provided no ZIP codes and $2 million from those with incomplete ZIPs in September.”
