JOBS, ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND THE ECONOMY

by Sharon Rondeau

Dr. Orly Taitz is a dentist and attorney who is running for U.S. Senate for California as a Republican

(May 17, 2012) — Atty. Orly Taitz, candidate for U.S. Senate from California, reported that she is currently running second against incumbent Dianne Feinstein.  “Right now I’m second, and I really need people to donate and help me raise money so I can make it.  I am so close,” Taitz said.

Three weeks ago, a survey showed Taitz with a 50% approval rating while Feinstein had 43% approval.  At present, the two candidates are tied for the number of “Google” searches done with their respective names.

Feinstein’s campaign treasurer was found to have embezzled “millions” in donations linked to about 700 bank accounts and 50 Democrat candidates for various offices, and a recent Federal Elections Commission ruling stated that Feinstein cannot solicit the donors for future donations if their checks had already been cashed.  Earlier this month, Politico reported that the FEC was expected to decide in favor of “helping” Feinstein by granting her request to resolicit the donors whose funds had been cashed and confiscated.

A law passed in 2010 in California “whereby all voters can vote for any candidate, regardless of party affiliation,” was first exercised last year, and the 2012s primary date is June 5.

Taitz said that Elizabeth Emken has the support of the Republican Party even though she is polling in much lower numbers.  Taitz stated that Emken has “only 1% overall support.” Taitz said that the two major parties make “deals” with each other as to which candidates they will run based on whether or not an incumbent is considered “safe.”

“We have corrupt puppets on both sides who are on the same ticket as a few hundred billionaire families who are running this nation, who manipulate the puppets on the right and the left, and those corrupt puppets are stifling the candidacy of candidates like myself who have popular support,” Taitz said.

On the subject of the economy, Taitz told us that she is in favor of allotting tax credits to companies who are “repatriating” jobs back to the United States and hiring American citizens.  She said that presently, Congress is giving tax breaks to companies which are moving jobs to China.  “They have forsaken their fiduciary duty.  Those congressmen and senators should be in prison for that,” she said.  “We have today, according to Forbes Magazine, over 100,000,000 Americans who are out of the workforce.  This is the #1 problem, and we need people who are not puppets on the ‘take’ of the establishment, who have real integrity and are saying, ‘Enough is enough.'”  Taitz said she is very distressed at the  “economic destruction” occurring in Western Europe and the United States and China’s manipulation of its currency.  “When those countries have the most favored nation status and no tariffs on their products, the U.S. economy is destroyed.  The congressmen allowing this are committing treason and we should assess damages for the money they made while in Congress,” Taitz said.

Regarding her stance on illegal immigration, Taitz said, “I’m against it.”  We asked her, “As a senator, what could you do to change the way things are now?” to which she responded, “We should do what Arizona is doing.  The courts have actually found many provisions in Arizona laws to be valid, and we should follow them.  These laws curb illegal immigration, but we have an attorney general who is arming drug cartels in Mexico with thousands of assault rifles, and they not only help illegal immigrants, but they also commit crimes here, including kidnappings where people are taken to Mexico for ransom.”

Taitz believes that Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has been a target of Attorney General Eric Holder recently, should file “an official report” with his district attorney based on the conclusion of his Cold Case Posse which was that Obama’s birth certificate and Selective Service registration card are forgeries.

Taitz has filed numerous lawsuits and ballot challenges asking for proof of Obama’s constitutional eligibility to serve as president over the last 3+ years.  In late March an Alabama Supreme Court justice stated that he believed that the “documentation” Obama has provided is troubling in the wake of the Cold Case Posse’s investigative report released earlier that month.  Taitz has recently filed a lawsuit against the Mississippi Democrat Party and Mississippi Secretary of State.

LCDR Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III has endorsed Dr. Taitz for U.S. Senate.  In a handwritten letter dated March 25, 2012, Fitzpatrick wrote, “Dr., Counselor Taitz recognizes the urgent need to take a new look at our past and get back to the United States Constitution.”

Update, May 18, 2012:  Atty. Taitz forwarded the following email which she received from the Feinstein campaign accusing her of “bizarre courtroom antics” in regard to Obama:

Friend — Dianne is right.

Karl Rove and his special interest buddies on the radical right have pledged half a billion dollars to bring down the President, and all those who fight with him for progress.

Dianne is fighting to move this country forward despite all the partisan wrestling going on this year — and we can’t afford to back down. Click here to contribute today and help us fight back.

In 2010, we saw extreme partisans get elected to office at every level of government. And since then, we’ve seen the results.

Hyper-partisan rhetoric. Non-stop brinksmanship. They refuse to compromise on anything — and do the hard work of coming together to accomplish real results for the American people.

We can’t allow a repeat of that this year.

If we want to continue to move forward after November is over, we need to stand strong now. Click here to contribute.

California is a perfect example — Orly Taitz, the extreme Republican famous for bizarre courtroom antics and frivolous attempts to sue the President, is Dianne’s best known Republican opponent.

Just imagine what would happen to women’s access to health care, to Medicare and Social Security, or to the fight for marriage equality, if the far right gained even more power.

Give today, and help us make sure none of us needs to find out.

Thanks,

Bill
