COULD THERE BE A MODERN-DAY EXODUS FROM BIG GOVERNMENT?

Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone apparently thinks so, after proposing that the county lead a campaign for as many as 13 Southern California counties to secede from the state.
Stone said in a statement late Thursday that Riverside, Imperial, San Diego, Orange, San Bernardino, Kings, Kern, Fresno, Tulare, Inyo, Madera, Mariposa and Mono counties should form the new state of South California.
The creation of the new state would allow officials to focus on securing borders, balancing budgets, improving schools and creating a vibrant economy, he said.
“Our taxes are too high, our schools don’t educate our children well enough, unions and other special interests have more clout in the Legislature than the general public,” Stone said in his statement.
If this can be pulled off, Southern Californians would be living back in the California of the early fifties. Business would once again flourish, jobs would become available as taxes across the board are cut on business and the wage earner. For the most part people in Northern California see things differently than those of us who understand economics and political realities. These folks are still willing to spend your money on their misguided delusions without giving any thoughts to the ultimate consequence.
Hark back to the good ole days of “guns-in butter” LBJ. Have any of his programs been a success? How about Jimmy Carters? The answer is a resounding no! In the bay area and farther up the coast the folks tend to be equally clueless but are into single issues. You have your environmentalists, brought to them by the socialist party, they are all about raising taxes on big oil and making sure we don’t destroy the planet. Never mind there is absolutely no current actual science to show that there is a link to CO2 and temperature change; in fact, the opposite is true.
Then we have the abortion fanatics on each side which probably wouldn’t show up to vote if they weren’t afraid about an issue settled by the Supreme Court and will not be changed until humanity as a whole believes that all life is precious, yes even the socialist and the Marxists among us who would rather see us become extinct as they worry about the earth surviving.
I believe the late comedian George Carlin said it best when he asked the question sticking his head out between the curtains before show time, while making a goofy face he pondered, “Why is it that the broads that are for abortion are so ugly nobody would want the screw (I recall him using a word beginning with F and ending in K) in the first place?
We would get our own senators. Laughingly Barbara Boxer was able to dupe the dullards up north to vote for her instead of Carly Fiorina, a conservative who Boxer led them to believe destroyed jobs while outsourcing them when she became CEO at HP. Factually the policies of our friends up north of increasing taxes and keeping the corporate income tax the highest in the developed world drove those jobs overseas along with virtually every other Fortune 500 company. You see, the rare air breathing elitists that hide out among the trees and the coast lines in Northern California have yet to grasp that profit isn’t evil, wealth creation isn’t bad, it’s taxes, ever increasing taxes that drive them away.
Is there any wonder why CA’s unemployment rate remains above 12% while the rest of America with the exception of other left-tilting states have an unemployment rate of around 9.2%?
Today I was greeted by a very nice Email from our other Senator, the crooked Diane Feinstein. She tells me not to be concerned about Obama being a Natural Born Citizen because the State Of Hawaii has said Obama was born in Hawaii. Has this woman been pulling a Rip Van Winkle on all of CA? Nope, Northern California can keep her and their sanctuary city mayor, and their gay, lesbian, transgender police department. Let these poor misguided folks see what it’s like to live on the money they chose to tax themselves. They have been getting away using other people’s money for far too long.
