Amazed at the similarities in theme, after reading your most recent article, America, Sweet America…, I thought I’d share with you a message I wrote to my slowly converting daughter, from the left to the (sort of) right. She is a disillusioned, 38 year old, Obamaton. Let’s pray there are many more like my daughter.

Oh, and another thing that should be said:
Alex Jones points to “Foreign Influences,” “Central Banks,” and “Global Corporatists” as the problem, as if they were the cause. This is incomplete and in fact dangerous to presume. These evils are not causes but symptoms of the problem. How can I be sure of this?
Simple. Are we not the Super Power of the world? The answer is/was “yes.” Then how is it that we could not defend ourselves from these evils? The answer is “It is not that we could not, but that we would not.” How so?
The very simplest and most accurate answer to this question is fundamental. Foreign interests have been invading our shores since 1913. In fact, even at the end of the Revolutionary War, when we defeated Great Britain, we had accumulated debt for the funding of that war, with France, Spain, and Holland. We still had monetary ties (and debt) to and with Great Britain. This, the founders, vocally lamented. We fought the war of our Independence, yet even after prevailing, we were not financially independent. But I digress.
In recent decades our debt and our deficit (distinctly different) have grown to impossible proportions. (During the era of Obama it has grown exponentially) The reason for this is because of our “spending” of course. But on what? The war in Iraq? Nonsense. That cost us about 700 Billion per year. But guess what? That figure pales to the waste, fraud, and abuse spent on Illegal Aliens, Medicare and Medicaid, entitlement programs, and most expensively, the growing of our government, including the benefits and pensions that are given or promised to the millions of Federal Employees and their unions, such as the NEA, to site one example. In essence, the government (which is distinctly different from the country – America) has sold its people down the river to the entities that Alex Jones names. WE are the problem, not them.
These evil entities would have no power here if they were not invited through our own lustful extravagances. I call them extravagances because they are exactly that. But this is not what the message is. The message, controlled by Washington and its complicit arm, the Media and Hollywood, would have us all believe that we are deserving, nay, OWED certain things from the almighty government. Like housing, healthcare, retirement, etc., etc. This is a lie and is contrary to God’s design. We are owed only the freedoms to succeed in attaining these things. Additionally, God is His infinite wisdom instilled in us the very real sense of compassion to care for those who cannot care for themselves. And we always have, without government coercion. This is God’s Superior Law, upon which this nation was founded. We now break God’s laws, and we pay.
What better way to gather a majority of votes than to promise to GIVE all these things to you, if you vote for me? And this is precisely what the founders warned us about upon our beginnings as a Republic. The problem is that GOVERNMENT PRODUCES NOTHING!!! By its nature and by definition a government produces zilch. The only thing a government can do is TAKE from those who produce and GIVE to those who do not produce. And of course the problem here is that it is guaranteed to fail over a short period of time. (Socialism) That time has now come and it is time to pay the piper.
Enough people (about 50%) in this country have figured out that it doesn’t pay to produce. So they don’t. Indeed, we are incentivized to NOT produce. Producers (like dummies such as me) are penalized and punished at every single turn with the enforcement of police and constables with guns and courts and judges and jail cells. So why don’t I just collect SSI or go on unemployment or the Welfare rolls? Because I’m stupid and proud – I won’t do it. Instead, for every dollar I produce, I am FORCED to give the government half – so that the half of the population that voted for those charlatans who bought their votes – with MY money – can live off of my sweat. This is an evil.
Let’s wrap it up: The cause is the government’s deceit and its adolescent fiscal irresponsibility whereby it has now borrowed so much money from Foreign Influences who would like nothing more than to see us fail miserably. Voila! I give you US Government 101 in 2011. And I’m just glazing the surface. I could name you chapter and verse of myriad examples of how these evils are committed every day by the government we ironically elect to represent OUR best interest. They do not. They know we are broke and they know who their masters are – their masters are the foreign interests, which is why we coddle Islamic extremists, and it is why we allow our borders to be violated, all the while they control the national message that “Only evil racists would object to a person of color to come here to America and have automatic citizenship and enjoy the FREE benefits of being an American.” And the denial that Muslims are invading us and who are hell bloody bent on killing us and destroying our way of life that they see as The Great Satan – America. And liberals LOVE them. So watch your mouth.
You know I could rant on for several more hours. But I’ve already made your ears bleed, and I apologize. But I speak truth and I can back it up with facts. This is NOT my opinion, nor is it coming from any form of partisanship bias because I am a Libertarian. Am I angry? You bet I am. I would be a stupid patsy if I weren’t. And so would you.
Summed up: Our own fiscal irresponsibility is the problem. Our own fiscal responsibility is the solution. We will necessarily have to suffer some pain and sacrifice if we ever hope to regain our health and our strength. The time has come. May God show us His mercy, and once again Bless America. This is our land – not the government’s.
